Street Closures for Halsted Halloween Parade
Halsted, from Belmont to Addison will be closed on October 31st to allow for the annual Halloween Parade.
The following side streets will closed to the alleys just east and west of Halsted, from 6pm, October 31st, to 2am, November 1st:
- Roscoe
- Cornelia
- Buckingham
- Melrose
- Brompton
- Aldine
- Newport

2022 Midterms Voting Information
Midterm Voting Information
In-person early voting in the 44th Ward will begin next Monday at Merlo Library. These midterms are critical so please make sure that your voice is heard by voting. Merlo Library will be open the following times through November 7th:
- Weekdays: 9am-6pm
- Saturdays: 9am-5pm
- Sundays: 10am-4pm
On Election Day, November 8th, residents will have to vote at the specific voting location for their precinct. Residents already registered to vote can find their precinct’s polling place you can visit the Chicago Board of Election’s website by clicking here. New residents can find a map precinct map by click here and matching it to the polling location list below.
