The City of Chicago utilizes mechanical street sweepers to remove debris and litter from streets. Residential Streets Sweeping program will begin on April 1st. Residents can view street sweepers in real time using the Sweeper Tracker online tool. Street sweeping requests should be made to city’s request line at 3-1-1 or click on the button below to make your request.
Zone-By-Zone Timeline
- The DARK BLUE ZONE (Sec 1), which covers Southport to Greenview, from Byron to Belmont, will be swept April 10th and 13th
- The ORANGE ZONE (Sec 2), which covers Racine to Southport, from Byron to Addison, will be swept April 21st and 22nd
- The LIGHT GREEN ZONE (Sec 3), which covers Halsted to Racine, from Irving Park to Addison, will be swept April 15th and 16th
- The PURPLE ZONE (Sec 4), which covers Addison to Belmont, from Racine to Southport, will be swept April 29th and 30th
- The RED ZONE (Sec 5), which covers Addison to Roscoe, from Halsted to Racine, will be swept April 27th and 28th
- the YELLOW ZONE (Sec 6), which covers Halsted to Racine, from Roscoe to Belmont, will be swept April 17th and 20th
- The PINK ZONE (Sec 7), which covers Lake Shore Drive to Halsted, from Cornelia to Belmont, will be swept April 8th and 14th
- The BLACK ZONE (Sec 8), which covers Sheffield to Racine, from Belmont to Diversey, will be swept April 6th and 9th
- The DARK GREEN ZONE (Sec 9), which covers Halsted to Sheffield, from Belmont to Diversey, will be swept April 23rd and 24th
- The LIGHT BLUE ZONE (Sec 10), which covers Lake Shore Drive to Halsted, from Belmont to Wellington, will be swept April 2nd and 3rd
- The LIGHT ORANGE ZONE (Sec 11), which covers Lake Shore Drive to Halsted, from Wellington to Diversey, will be swept April 1st and 7th
