There is a proposal for a 30 unit rental building with first floor commercial space and seven parking spaces for this site. The developers would like to take advantage of the City’s new Transit Oriented Development Ordinance which incentivizes density near transit centers and allows for a reduction in the required parking spaces. More information on this ordinance can be found here. The developers are asking to change the zoning from a B3-2 to a B3-5 Transit Oriented Planned Development. This development has received community support and is now going through the City Planned Development process.
