The project consists of the redevelopment of the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church parish hall building located at 621 West Belmont, directly adjacent to the church. It is anticipated that both structures will be landmarked.
The developer proposes to rezone the church and parish hall buildings to B2-5 Community Shopping District in order to convert the parish hall building into 20 residential dwelling units.
Subsequent to the rezoning, the developer is required to seek variances to the existing side and front yard requirements due to the existing non-conforming nature of the building.
No additions to either building will be constructed.
The parish hall building will be renovated and the historical features of the building façade will be rehabbed.
