







Gatwood Crane is scheduled to setup a full road closure of Inner Lake Shore Drive from Hawthorne to Stratford. This closure is to facilitate a crane lift of equipment to the roof of 3470 N. Lake Shore Drive. The road closure will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1st and end on Sunday, November 3rd at noon.
Parking Restrictions: “No Parking” signs will be posted on both sides of Inner Lake Shore Drive from Hawthorne to Stratford from Friday at 8:00 p.m. through noon on Sunday. Parking restrictions will also be posted on the south side of Stratford, west of Inner Lake Shore Drive, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Traffic Detour: Northbound Inner Lake Shore Drive to Westbound Roscoe, Westbound Roscoe to Northbound Broadway, Northbound Broadway to Eastbound Addison, Eastbound Addison to Northbound Inner Lake Shore Drive. Southbound Inner Lake Shore Drive to Westbound Addison, Westbound Addison to Southbound Broadway, Southbound Broadway to Eastbound Belmont, Eastbound Belmont to Southbound Inner Lake Shore Drive. Detour signage will be posted throughout the area to direct traffic.
CTA Reroute:
Crews will maintain local access onto Melrose, Roscoe and Stratford from Inner Lake Shore Drive as well as access onto Inner Lake Shore Drive from Aldine, Hawthorne and Cornelia during this road closure.





Upcoming resurfacing project on North Clark Street from North Waveland Avenue to North Southport Avenue. This work is part of the Chicago Department of Transportation’s Arterial Street Resurfacing – North Area Project, in the 44th Ward.
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin on October 21, 2019, pending clearance from and coordination with existing utilities, and weather permitting. The work will include ADA sidewalk improvements, curb and gutter removal and replacement, pavement patching, milling and paving the existing asphalt pavement, and striping.
During construction, temporary “No Parking” signs will be periodically installed as required for each activity listed above. These temporary signs will restrict parking during working hours, while adhering to rush hour restrictions, for the completion of the work. All work on this corridor is scheduled to be completed December 6, 2019.
