As part of the Lincoln/Belmont/Ashland streetscape, the Chicago Department of Transportation and Aldridge Electric Inc crews will be upgrading the street light infrastructure along the East side of Ashland from Belmont to Roscoe.
The project includes new underground conduit via “Directional Boring” , handholes, installation of new pole and pole foundation, concrete sidewalk & ADA ramp installations.
Project Schedule:
Start Date: Monday, October 29th
End Date: Monday, December 31st
Parking Restrictions:
Crews will post Orange “No Parking-Street Scape” along the east side of Ashland between Belmont and Roscoe as needed. Parking will be restricted between the hours of 6:00a.m. and 3:00p.m., Monday through Friday. Parking is allowed outside of the posted days and hours, but cars will need to be moved by the start of the next workday. Crews will do everything to preserve as much parking as possible.
Traffic Restrictions:
When crews are working in the street, they may need to close access to a northbound lane for safety reasons.
