eScooters

See scooter corral parking information here. On all Cubs gamedays and when Wrigley Field hosts other large special events (more than 15,000 simultaneous visitors), no shared scooter parking will be allowed within the red geofenced area shown below. This rule shall be in effect one hour before and 30 minutes after games and events conclude. Operators are responsible for knowing when Wrigley Field is hosting home Cubs games and other large special events and to implement geofences appropriately. In the event that a previously scheduled game or other event is cancelled, this geofence is not required for that event.

Operator Option: An operator may allow shared scooter parking within the red geofenced area shown below if they set up a valet service on private property that is staffed for the entirety of the geofence timeframe and the valet is approved at least 48 hours in advance by CDOT staff.

Operator Requirement: Shared scooter riding will continue to be allowed throughout the geofenced area but must be limited to 10mph maximum speed within the geofence.

Operator Expectation: Operators are expected to closely monitor the area around Wrigley Field during Cubs home games and other special events and correct riding or parking behavior that causes safety or accessibility issues for other users of the public right of way. The City reserves the right to implement stricter requirements (including a larger geofence) if repeat improper parking and operation issues occur.
