We collected feedback on this project via a survey here from July-October as well as via email/phone, and at several community meetings with the Southport Neighbors Association.
High North LLC proposed a zoning change from B3-2 to C1-1 to establish a cannabis dispensary at 3650 N. Clark Street, pending municipal approvals. The proposed 3,500-square-foot facility includes a layout site plan (see the presentation linked below), dedicated parking, and compliance with local regulations, such as maintaining a minimum distance from schools and sensitive areas. Operating hours are planned from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with security measures including 24/7 surveillance and personnel. The LLC operates under a social equity cannabis license.
