Community Alert

Recently the 19th District has experienced numerous catalytic converter thefts. The thefts are occurring during the enenving and overnight hours. Jeeps, Honda Elements and Ford Escapes and Ford Escapes are being specifically targeted due to their higher ground clearance, which allows the thief to easily reach and remove the catalytic converter by using a cordless saw. If you see an individual carrying a cordless saw and/or a catalytic converter, please call 911 immediately
