DESCRIPTION:Montrose Harbor \n\nThis race is based on the already successful Burgers & Beer Fun Run Series that happens monthly from Universal Sole's Lakeview location. The Race will be an officially timed 5k run/walk with a fun filled outdoor beer garden style after party where you can enjoy your burgers & beer! \n\nBurgers & Beer 5k is benefitting CARA Road Scholars. CARA Road Scholars is an innovative approach to inspiring excellence in Chicago youth. This intervention program challenges teens to train for and complete a half marathon. Road Scholars uses running to teach at risk youth important lessons in commitment, dedication and discipline, while improving self esteem and worth. \n\nEntry Fee: $40 plus option to purchase Beer Garden Meal Ticket $5 - $10 on Race Day\n\nRegister Today!
