Executive Director, Gary Garland is 50 years old, and he's celebrating with a 50 mile walk to raise 50 thousand for Lakeview Pantry!\n\nAs Executive Director Gary Garland trains for his upcoming 50 for Food fifty mile journey to raise hunger awareness in our community, join Lakeview Pantry staff, volunteers and more than 6,000 others as we march against hunger at Soldier Field on Saturday, June 23rd for the Greater Chicago Food Depository?s 27th Annual Hunger Walk.\n\nWalking with Lakeview Pantry will help Lakeview Pantry earn credit towards the $120,000 we spend on food at the Greater Chicago Food Depository each year.  Each participant will help us ?chip? away at hunger in our neighborhood, providing ?Food for Today . . . Hope for Tomorrow?.\n\nThere is no registration fee for the event.
