Residential Permit Parking is Coming Your Way!

Effective July 1, 2008:
Residential Permit Parking Zone 383 (6:00pm-6:00am) will be expanded to include the following streets:

Addison: Racine to Ashland
900 W. Dakin
3600-3800 N. Fremont
800-1100 W. Waveland
900-1100 W. Grace
3600-3800 N. Wilton
800 W. Addison (South Side Only)
900 W. Addison
3800 N. Racine (both sides)
3700-3800 N. Sheffield
900-1000 W. Sheridan Rd.

LV2-Cubs Night Game Parking Permits are NO LONGER VALID in Zone 383 Permit Parking areas. Enforcement on Night Games begins at 5:00pm. Residential Guest Passes must be displayed by 5:00pm to avoid ticket and tow!

Signs will be installed beginning Mid-June.
Enforcement will begin July 1, 2008.


The City Clerk's Office will be selling both City of Chicago Vehicle Stickers & Residential Parking Permits at the Ward Service Office (1057 W. Belmont) on the following dates:
June 5th, 10am-6pm
June 9th, 10am-5:30pm
June 16th, 10am-6pm

City of Chicago Vehicle Stickers & Zone 383 Residential Parking Permits can also be purchased at any City Clerk facility. Please check the Clerk's website (www.chicityclerk.com) for locations and additional information.

Annual Residential Parking Permit Pilot Program

In conjunction with the City Clerk's Office, Zone 383 Residential Parking Permits will be sold to eligible residents of the 44th Ward.

Residents need to provide the following documents:
1. Photo ID
2. Proof of Residence (Lease/Mortgage, Utility Bill, Voter Registration Card)
3. Receipt of City of Chicago Vehicle Sticker
4. Appropriate Fee (Cash Only) * See Below Fee Schedule
5. Completed application, including Name, Address, Make & Model of Vehicle, License Plate # and City Sticker #. (Blank applications are available in our office).

We will continue to sell Guest Passes for Residential Zone 383, however, you are now required to complete a simple application containing Name, Address, Zip Code and Signature. As always, proof of residence and photo id are required to purchase Guest passes. Limit one book.

$25.00 June 1 - November 30th
$16.50 December 1 - March 31st
$8.25 April 1 - May 31st

If you have a vehicle within the city limits for a period of 30 days or longer, you must have a City of Chicago Vehicle Sticker on your car. In addition, to park in most areas of the 44th Ward, you must have a Residential Parking Permit or a guest parking permit. Enforcement times vary from block to block. If you are unsure of the parking regulations for your street, please contact the 44th Ward Service Office. In addition, Residential Parking regulations are posted on signs on each block.
